I drove out of Merlo Garage for four years, serving the extra board for two years. And then I drove out of Center Garage for another two years. I drove for Tri-Met six years all together and stopped driving when I became insulin dependent in 2005. Tri-Met certainly wanted me to keep driving. I did not want to drive on insulin. I wanted an off the road job. I have never regretted leaving or driving for them. This is a retirement party for Arlene. I couldn't help thinking that this building would make a beautiful dance studio.
